Look for these signs
- A water bill that is higher than usual
- Damp patches or bubbling paint on walls and ceilings
- A musty smell in one room
- Warm patches on a floor above heating pipes
- Boiler pressure that keeps dropping
- The sound of running water when every tap is off
A quick meter test
Turn off every tap and appliance that uses water. Note the reading on your water meter, wait an hour and read it again. If the number has moved, water is escaping somewhere.
How we find it
We use thermal imaging and pressure testing to trace the leak before we lift a floorboard. Then we repair it and make good.
